This book was a sweet unexpected contemporary romance about a desperate boss and his perfect assistant. Things didn't work out as planned, but they did work out for the better. Still, I loved the surprises in it and the internal and external struggles they went thru to find their happily ever after. The story has its sweet moments and its omg moments.

Nate is baffled that his assistant, Ms. Evie Parker, didn't find him attractive; she is always professional and does more than she is supposed to. She is also punctual.

We get her point of view as well, and this book gets funnier as she describes a lousy date and he deals with a psycho ex. This bachelor's auction should be interesting.

Omg, Vegas, and then is a riot. This book gets steamy as this couple discovers each other for who they indeed are. I love his assistant so human and normal. The party they had was a bit eccentric.

They have some intense family drama and must learn to trust each other, but I love that it all worked out and ended happily. This book surprised me with the internal and extreme struggles that the characters both went thru on their journey.

So nonsensical that it was borderline enjoyable.

Quick Summary: An employer-employee marriage of convenience

My Review: Marrying My Billionaire Boss by Nadia Lee was a quick and easy read that was a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy.

What began with an unstated mutual attraction between two people who worked closely together ended with a hasty and rather peculiar impromptu marriage. Added to the confusing chain of events, the story featured an aggressive ex with psychotic tendencies, a bachelor auction, a deadbeat dad, a highly involved family of wealth, a hardworking mother who had a secret, a small, loyal friend group, and a baby.

The conflict in this book was minimal. The steamy chemistry between the couple was evident from the beginning. The final act of love shown by Nate to win Evie's heart was monumental.

A Notable Mention: I loved the enemies to lovers vibe that was eluded to between Evie's best friend and the man she was loaned out to for work. Talk about a blast from the past! That story is sure to be fire.

My Final Say: Readers who want to read a flirty romance with a touch of heat will like this book.

..and now I want to dive into everyone else's stories. Ugh, this was cute.

Marrying My Billionaire Boss was predictable but I enjoyed it all. Ugh, Nate and Evie were just completely adorable. It was honestly cute that they were both trying to get the other to notice them and then they only "looked" when the other wasn't. They also had amazing chemistry and both had strong crazy feelings against the bikini mink girl.

The only thing that was a smidge weird was the whole - you need to get married and then babies vibe I was getting. Not completely surprised that they had a one night stand that they couldn't remember.. or ya know the whole marriage thing either. I just couldn't figure out who was behind the scenes. Of course, I had some theories.. but nothing was concrete until the ending.

Overall, it was good and I definitely enjoyed this book. Not going to lie, I also got books 1-3. Let's do this!

This fell a little flat for me especially with georgette and Evie's daughter. There are also way too many name/couples if you hadn't read any of the other books. And the baby thing was not resolved. An epilog would have gotten this a 3.
