What I've seen of Soul Eater many years ago was great, and I kind of needed a break from reading Dragon Ball. What's not great is the fan service. It's actually really fucking gross, especially the part where Soul lifts Maka's skirt. Also just the upskirts of Maka in general. She's a child, and nobody needs to see that. Also not the biggest fan of the art style, but from what I can tell it gets a lot better later in the series.
