Un grand merci à l’auteur.e pour cet ARC et sa confiance.
On retrouve nos trois valeureux (and scorching) mages et dragonniers après une fin de premier tome douce-amer suite à la perte des pouvoirs magiques de Cai, de sa position ainsi que son de habileté à communiquer avec son dragon.
Ce tome se déroule du point de vue d’Harlen. C’est un gros ours au cœur de guimauve qui ne s’accorde pas assez de mérite pour le rôle qu’il joue au sein de son trouple. Harlen essaye de s’occuper et de distraire ses amants du mieux qu’il peut des responsabilités qui pèsent sur leurs épaules et des défis que le destin semble s’amuser à leur lancer.
Le dernier tome sera du POV de Cai, qui m’intrigue énormément, il se livre peu et j’ai très envie de connaître son ressenti sur son passé et comment il a vécu sa perte de pouvoir et son nouveau statut.

Harlen's POV was such a joy to get. It was so good to get this look into who he is as a person and the depth of his love for Cai and Kirby. It was also really good to see the struggles he had with dealing with Kirby possibly being the Chosen One and Cai no longer having magic and feeling useless when it came to helping his partners. All in all, loved this a whole lot.

I was waiting for this second opus and am not disappointed.
The story continues and damn this is good.
I am so so happy to see Kirby, Cai and Harlen back with their dragons.
First of all, this time the story is from Harlen POV haha and damn this is so funny. Different from Kirby's and I'm sure way more perverted than Cai.
It offers us some very spicy scenes which I really enjoyed.
I was taken aback at first, as I'm used to reading from different POVs in the same book, but like the first one, I was into it pretty quickly.
I love that the book is not just about romance and that there is an actual really good plot behind it. I love that everything is not as it seems in the first book. The titles from the three books are kinda of a spoiler itself but whatever I was super happy anyway.
It is kinda difficult to tell you how much I appreciate this book without spoiling you.
This book story was kind of "light and slow" but it was expected as it's the second opus and damn the third will be awesome I'm sure.
But all I can say is that this book is as good as the first one.
The author did really a good job here, this book is a hot MMM but the story is super interesting as well. I recommend !
And can't wait for book 3 from Cai's POV.
