Perfecto. Los malos no me interesan, son muy genéricos, pero es que no le hace falta. Esto es Nightwing y la batfamilia en su mejor forma posible. Me he emocionado, me he reído y he encontrado a los personajes tal cual quería encontrarlos. Además en medio de un apartado gráfico sensacional.

Easy five stars because that's literally my husband.
2022 Eisner Award finalist - Best Continuing Series, Best Penciller/Inker or Penciller/Inker Team (Bruno Redondo), Best Cover Artist (Bruno Redondo), Best Lettering (Wes Abbott)
Dick Grayson/Nightwing has been rebooted more times than I can count. He's been a sidekick to Batman, a founding member of Teen Titans (now just Titans), an international spy, and an amnesiac still somehow a superhero. Now he has his memories back, has inherited a fortune from an unexpected source, and discovered an unknown relative who may or may not be a criminal. Add to this a budding romance with Barbara Gordon/Batgirl/Oracle and the adoption of a tripod puppy off the streets, and you get a pretty interesting incarnation of the character. He is still fighting supervillains, particularly Roland Desmond/Blockbuster, a knockoff of Marvel's Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (or maybe it's the other way around; I don't know who was created first) who has the police, courts, and politicians of Blüdhaven under his complete corrupt control. One of the things I like about Nightwing is that he is not afraid of asking for help from Batgirl, Tim Drake/Red Robin, and even Superman (although interestingly, not from Batman). The strength of the stories comes from Nightwing's relationships to all of these characters and how he goes about using his newfound wealth to help the citizens of Blüdhaven. The artwork, mainly by Bruno Redondo, is clean and modern.

I’m usually a Marvel kind of girl but when this was suggested with my KU membership I wanted to try because of the cover art.
I loved the art style for the whole volume: absolutely GORGEOUS with amazing colours! The story was good too and easy to dive into for someone who doesn’t know much about the DC universe!

i love this so much. nightwing has gone through so much as a character and even as just a person. im so happy he has his own comic run and that i was able to get my hands on this volume.

I decided to skip the ‘Ric’ stories and fast forward to Tom Taylor’s run here. The most notable aspect of this collection is without a doubt Bruno Redondo’s phenomenal art bringing Nightwing to life in such a unique and dynamic way. I love to see the action scenes where you can trace Dick’s movements across panels. I like Dick and Babs together, and obviously am gushing about the addition of Haley the pup. But I have to dock this story a star for needless soap opera-y nonsense. Still, I’m interested to see where the story goes with Dick’s new initiative with the Pennyworth Foundation. Only, I don’t read a lot of Batman and have no idea what happened to Alfred… Oh well.
