Moderate: Body horror, Death, Violence, Blood, Fire/Fire injury, Injury/Injury detail
The book features a neurodivergent (Autistic) protagonist whose internal monologue and struggles with social interaction are central to her characterization and relatable for neurodivergent readers. The relationship between Artemisia and the sarcastic Revenant is a highlight. The ending leaves room for a potential sequel.
