An absolutely beautiful reading!! LJ always amazes us with her creativity and beautiful writing… as you may know this is the third installment of the Boston Belles, each woman represents Fierce, Passion, Power and Love, each one in a very unique way! I’m already looking forward for the fourth installment of this series of female empowerment!

idk i mean it was good. it was decent. but i didn’t get excited abt anything, you know? and it j seemed a little predictable idk. it had good moments and bad moments but i just hate when books wrap up in such a neat little bow. i think the other books were better bc they were happening at similar times. also the fact tht aislings mom was unhinged for over twenty years and then j improved overnight is too good to be true.

I literally jumped for joy when this hit my kindle as I had been waiting very impatiently for Sam and Aisling's story. This is the 3rd book in the Boston Belle's series and follows on from Hunter and Cillian's stories.
Aisling met Sam at the carnival for the first time and this book carried on that theme and was literally like a roller coaster. The pushing and pulling between the 2 was like a game of wills. Sam the mobster and Aisling the doctor couldn't be more different but somehow Aisling made Sam start feeling things he had said he would never feel.
I was getting really annoyed with Aisling's mother but thankfully even she caught onto herself and started to make amends.
Brilliant story with fantastic characters and well worth the wait.

I just feel this series has women with no backbone until 3/4 in and I get that these men have issues

But it frustrates me on how they are treated. So that is where my review is coming from

Otherwise I love her books

Sam & Ash have been orbiting each other for 10 years. After a chance encounter both of their paths were forever changed. Everyone knew Ash was ‘secretly’ pining for Sam…but what about Sam?? His Ascent to power has taken many turns but was Aisling on his radar??

The Monster answer that question and so much more. Y’all Ash is kinda of a bada$$

4.75⭐️ - heeeelll yeah!!!

I started this, then had to switch to an arc so the dates are off by about 3-4 days.

I liked the book but the non-plausible and errors have stuck in my mind and I really hate when that happens to good books.

To normal people I'm sure these things are over looked. But my brain with fixate on them. And then it sorta just ruins the rest of the book for me.

Anyway. I still love Sam. I love how wrong we all thought Aisling would be. I love how powerful and strong she is. I love that while she is still in that teen love crush with Sam, she also knows her worth and stands up to let others know her worth as well.

Overall, least fav in the series thus far not because of quality but b/c Sam is annoying (but still hot)

1 The Hunter: Hunter, laidback rule breaker Playboy & Sailor, mob daughter/uptight athlete
2 The Villian: Cillian, cold hearted billionaire CEO & Persephone, soft hearted PreK teacher
3 The Monster: Finally time for Sam, angry mob boss & Aisling, heiress, 'doctor' younger sis of boss, to take center stage & dance around & deny their feelings until they explode in the way we all love for some reason.

It's no secret in the other books that Aisling is obsessed with Sam, but it was all very hush hush in the sense she nor he ever said much about it openly.

Now we get a better piture, which is: Sam, next gen adopted mob boss, self proclaimed monster (well, not really self proclaimed, but self retained nickname I guess), is chased for ***A FUCKING DECADE*** by Ash, & now shit is finally hitting the fan. They were due.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Aislings character, but I think if asked I would have predicted her to exist somewhere within the realms of naivety, being gullible, etc. However, I was pleasently surprised that she was neither of these things. She is in love with Sam, yes. She is hopelessly obssesed. BUT she isn't dumb, she knows what the deal is & much to my surprise & enjoyment, she plays the whole game right back with him, sneaking her way to him in a dishonest way. Which was weird. But... loved that journey for her (as far as the book goes lmao)

Sam Brennan on the other hand..... oh christ he is SO ANNOYING. I mean, ya I totally *would* (wink face) but his arrogant god complex is other worldly on a whoooooole other level of the others. Actually Hunter & Cillian weren't ever full of themselves, it was the exact opposite, it seemed. Sam... as much as he has his doubts & sadness from childgood trauma (obviously), & I did enjkoy the scenes of him interacting with baby Sailor, Adult Sailor & the kids, etc... he was just annoying outside that. He knew Ash "would always be there waiting for him, when he wanted" & that internal diaglogue was his honest POV & that revelation is important, I get it, but Holy F*ck Boi Energy.

Still, steamy as hell. I don't hate them. Aisling is cool. I'm v here for the whole series & eagerly awaiting the next book which BEST BE EMMALYNNE & DEVON OR SO HELP ME GODDESS.... I'll still read it & love it but really want it that way (LOLOL)
