Jelikož jsem se rozhodla řádně prozkoumat celý svět Lovců stínů, brouzdala jsem na netu a narazila na doporučení číst chronologicky dle času. Takže jsem se pustila do Pekelných strojů. A musím říct že super! Jednička mě hodně bavila, příjemně se to četlo, skoro všechny postavy mi byly celkem sympatické. Jen mi strašně nesedl Will. A hlavně jeho protivná povaha. Ale jinak celý příběh super, skvěle promyšlené. Dávám záměrně 4 hvězdičky, tu poslední si schovávám pro další díly :) Nerada bych přechválila začátek a pak byla zklamaná.
