I read this graphic novel because the art looked cool, the plot sounded interesting, and Pete Wentz was an author. I read it quickly in a library and I was pretty disappointed. I did not like the dialogue. It was trying to be quirky teen speak, and I did not find it funny. Also, I do not think that the graphic novel balanced the seriousness of mental health issues and suicide with the wackiness of the plot. At the beginning, I was intrigued about where the plot was going to go. By the end, everything felt rushed, resolved too quickly and in a dull way.

Definitely lives up to the "bubblegum emo-girl swirl" witchy vibes, kind of queer, kind of confusing, very teenage angst
With the trigger warnings pretty obvious, I would say it can work for 14+

okay Pete Wentz, pop off. This was funnier than I expected, I loved all the emo culture references and the QR codes for music was fun, and this ended up being a cute little story by the end with some twists I didn't see coming
