I love the art and I'm a massive fan of anything Alice in wonderland related.
The art is so stunning, though that ending was pretty unsatisfying. Overall though I did enjoy this series and found it an interesting take on the story of Alice in Wonderland.
A quirky, humorous take on Alice in Wonderland... I wasn't sure what I thought at first, but it grew on me towards the end...
So, I haven’t read manga in years, but I was recently killing some time in the library and picked up the first two volumes of I Am Alice for some easy holiday reading. The gender essentialism is, as expected, a little much, but there’s enough hints that they might do something more to keep me reading into the next one. I also think the character designs are quite nice. So far, they’re not doing anything particularly interesting with the Wonderland mythology, but we’ll see where they’re going, particularly with Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
