I kept putting this off because I was so nervous after how much I loved A Court of Sugar and Spice BUT even though I gave this a slightly lower rating, I ended up adoring it to my absolute relief! I appreciated we got POVs from characters that appeared in book one as well. It helped to connect the stories so perfectly and while there are differences with themes, tropes, and the trigger warnings, the overall vibe is there so this book feels familiar but also different enough to be interesting and absolutely worth the read!
