The plot is honestly so good and I’m so invested but why ARE THEY SO HORNY EVERY GODDAMN SECOND OF THE DAY?!?

Book Two in the Wicked Darlings series did not disappoint!

I really enjoyed Finn and Clara, revisiting them after their HEA and their adventure was so fun. At first I was put out that Louisa wasn't in this book much, but Alice was such a strong FMC that I quickly forgot to miss Louisa. Alice is a farm girl, stand in mother for her several siblings and has a zest for life. She was so inquisitive and delightful, and her hope to find good in everyone was charming. I thought the dynamics between Alice, the cat and the rabbit were FASCINATING and delicious.

The Queen was really cool. I thought it was a really interesting spin on a classic tale. Retellings can be hard to pull off but Rebecca F Kenney CRUSHED this! Can't wait for book 3!!

there wasn’t anything wrong with the book, but i wasn’t finding myself picking up my kindle. i think i need a palate cleanser since i tried to read book 1 and 2 back to back.
