Love a good mystery thriller and Dame Agatha is the GOAT! I certainly didn't guess the ending. It got a little verbose in the middle, but I pushed through. And I had to laugh at the marriage proposal to Emily at the end. It was very much an unexpected ending!

As a huge Christie fan, I was alittle thrown off with the “twist” at the end. I feel like it wasn’t practical or fully developed, however, this book provides a TON of red herrings that kept me guessing at the murderer until the end. I also liked the use of snow as almost an ominous and claustrophobic entity in the book that felt perfect to read with there bringing about 3 feet of it outside my house. While I don’t think it is her best, it was definitely still a great mystery.

An unfamiliar Agatha Christie story to me. Great to keep finding new ones.
A really atmospheric read and one I would definitely re-read mid-winter, cosied up by the fire.

This may be my first Agatha Christie…? Is that possible?? Anyway I thought it was really fun. I was sure I knew whodunnit! And I was WRONG!!!
A nice little mystery and with a plucky young woman solving the crime! Not my favorite, but a good read, especially for the winter months when you want that snowy atmosphere.
