sully . . . how does it feel to be living my dream? đş
not sure if i'm even gonna read this series at all but 5-starring out of pettiness. all you salty "fans" going insane over the poly relationship need to get over yourselves. just because you love a ship doesn't mean you get to control it. these are not your characters, it is not your right to demand something from an author and lash out when they give you something different. also, stop insulting soccer moms! as if all of you aren't just spoiled brats drowning in your own entitlement.
if you don't like it, don't read it. this is why fanfiction exists.

So I don´t know what to say about this book. I like reading about polyamorous relationships even though they just got into that in the end. And I guess that it was the reason I didn't like this book as much as I hoped. I just hate this whole "who should I pick?" and jealousy thing that was a major part of this book. So I hope that there is less of that in the next book. And I would like to see something else between Banks and Akara because you have to be blind if you can't see the sparks between them, and don't you dare to tell me it's just friendly sparks. And I hope that Ryke gets into a real f-bomb when he finds out.

Really disappointed by the execution of the idea they had for this book.
Chemistry between Banks and Sulli was forced. Almost every conversation between main 3 awkwardly brought up sex.
But my main issue was the focus on her virginity (I got sick of reading the word alone). It was presented like some burden for her she just wanted to get rid of. And not because she craved sex, which is a totally natural thing, but just because she is 22 and doesnât trust herself to find respectful boyfriend again. It wasnât written like her path to sexual empowerment and discovery but a desire to check off something of a list of adult requirements.
Also, astonishingly little interactions with a family that put everything on hold to come and support her. Itâs like the whole point of their visit was for Charlie to catch them kissing.
And can we talk about the always-aware-Jane-freaking-lioness-Cobalt being obtuse when it comes to Akaraâs feelings for Sulli.
Also, finding obstacles these billionaires face irritating. When going on a mountain adventure you would think a bodyguard and a BOSS would carry a satellite phone. And they would not sleep in motels paid by the hour. Itâs standard practice for famous people to cover expenses of their bodyguards when traveling. And 24/7 personal protection is paid BIG BIG BUCKS so I donât understand how security ( Farrow and Donnelly) donât have big money saved when they are with famous ones for years now and have no personal expanses as they donât have any free time. Either kind billionaires we love so much are exploiting security or this is case of some lazy writing.
Yeah, I didnât want to go on a rent but it was time. This is my first review and I have read over hundred books. But I had to do it as I have a hard time believing the people that wrote addicted series wrote this book. With that being said if writers want to bounce of some ideas and a new set of eyes in the future I am volunteer as a tribute. Will work for free (LIKE SECURITY).
PLUS + I canât forget the dirty porta potties. Like they wouldnât dash out for luxury porta potties for fundraising event for their familiesâ big charity. The small and not so small things and plot holes are killing me.
Why I gave it 3 stars? I donât have the heart to put anything less and maybe for the books before it, and in hope and support of the books after it?

Okkkk so I really have a lot of thoughts on this one!!
First things first: thanks to everyone who decided rating this book with 1 fcking âď¸, you put my expectations so low that this just became - easily - a 5âď¸ for me.
Iâve never been a poly relationshipsâ fan - itâs just not something I love and I really do not look for books with that (bc I know itâs not my cup of tea) BUT since this a series with characters I love and all the seven books before this one are 5 stars for me, I couldnât just skip them and you know what? Iâm glad I didnât!
I was so afraid about the beginning of the relationship being cringe and all the characters were just horny and stupid that I was deadly surprised while I was reading it.
The character development is phenomenal and the relationship build up with all the angst, doubts and feelings were so, so well done.
Of course and like other KBR books - the family and side characters are EVERY-FUCKING-THING. I canât wait for misfits like us, really.
