3.5 Wedding Crashing Stars
Hudson Rothschild. What can I say about this man? Other than being an asshole, in the beginning, he is also a lovable father, a family man, a loyal friend, and a great, hot lover. Man, he doesn't deserve the devastation from THAT revelation and my heart was hurting for him during those moments.

Okay I loved this!! VK does it again! I could not stop smiling the entire time while reading this. Stella and Hudson had such good chemistry, and I loved how goofy they were together. Also steamy
I went into this hoping to find a really good romance book and sadly I was disappointed instead. The plot twist was telegraphed quite early on and relatively easy to guess so that wasn't as shocking for me as the author likely hoped. Also, having read some of Keeland's work with Ward in anthologies in the past, I was expecting much more romance from this novel, but the main characters honestly spent most of the first half dancing around each other and then it was mostly fade-to-black scenes, which I was not expecting from an author like Keeland. This is the first book that I've read from her as the sole author, and I might try another, but go in with much lower expecations.
Wow!
This was a stay up way too late but you don’t even regret it the next morning when you have to get up early for work because you just can’t put it down kind of story.
Amazingly amazing.

A super cute rom com! The cover is very misleading and makes this look like it’s some kind of erotic fiction. So glad that wasn’t the case
lighthearted
relaxing
fast-paced
The Invitation was such a great book, although, pretty much everything Vi Keeland writes is amazing! Stella meets Hudson at a wedding that she crashes. He is absolutely gorgeous and they have instant chemistry. That is until he figures out she wasn't who she said she was. She couldn't get out of the wedding fast enough and ended up leaving her phone at the wedding.
Eventually Hudson decides to invest in Stella's business, thanks to his sister (the bride) because Hudson is one who holds grudges. Obviously you know that they are going to act on that chemistry. Stella and Hudson are just so cute together. I also love how Hudson is such a great dad and that ending!? OMG. So cute!!

3.5 stars = more than ok, but not quite to the ”I liked it” level.
