I love Vi Keelands stories and her writing. Her books are always engaging and interesting and full of laughter and sweet romances with a hint of steam. The invitation was no different I loved Stella and Hudson from the start and the uniqueness of who Stella is was a delight to read.
Although the story’s plot was predictable as in who’s diary Stella had and who was J I still enjoyed reading Stella and Hudson’s relationship blossom as they had some swoon worthy conversations that makes you believe life will always direct you where you need to be. And I can’t forgot to mention the side characters in this story Fisher and Olivia were amazing in their own right.

I literally couldn’t put this book down, I laughed so much with the characters and I loved Stella so much, she was unique, strong and so funny.
All the banter between Stella and Hudson (this man is so swoony) are amazing, they’re so lovely and his daughter so cute.

Ich liebe Vi... Ja, sie erfindet das Rad im Liebesroman Sektor nicht neu, aber ihr Schreibstil ist locker, flockig, lustig, ihre Dialoge sind immer ein Highlight und die Charaktere sind etwas älter als im New Adult Genre. Das mag ich sehr.
Hier die Geschichte ist keine Ausnahme. Zwar konnte ich den Twist zum Ende schon früh erahnen, aber in diesem Fall hat es mich komischerweise gar nicht gestört.
Und mir ist mal wieder aufgefallen, was ich an Liebesromanen so mag: das hin und her bis zum ersten Kuss! Ja, manchmal macht einen das auch wahnsinnig, aber Vi bauscht das ganze so gut auf, bis es endlich explodiert

Otro libro de Vi que me encanta, inicialmente no me llamaba tanto la atención, pero resultó ser lo que yo necesitaba. Tenemos a Hudson que es divino, me encanta que sepa lo que quiere y lo dulce que es con las personas de su alrededor, los mensajes en las frutas son un bonus, y Stella es increible, no se rinde facilmente, da su pequeño grano de arena y su pasatiempo es muy raro pero interesante, los personajes secundarios me encantaron Fisheeeeerr lo maximo, Charlie otro tanto y Olivia también dio su aporte y me gusto. Es un libro que se lee super rápido, queres saber que pasa con los personajes y les tomas cariño, es un libro que no tiene mucho drama y es lo que necesitaba leer ahora, asi que si buscan una lectura ligera y super dulce, se las recomiendo.

I was hooked from the VERY beginning and I had to force myself to stop reading and go to bed. Stella? She’s the cutest thing ever sis had so much spunk, I loved her easygoing personality. She’s one of those people who can get alone with anyone. Her sense of humor was freaking hilarious.
Hudson was such a flirt in the beginning then he had his moments of being a hardass but he knew he couldn’t avoid his feelings for Stella any longer. This was kind of a slow burn but I didn’t mind it because everything played out the way it should have.
That trip to LA?! IYKYK aaahhh I ship them so hard. I wonder is the whole diary thing is real I might be into that lmao. As far as angst there wasn’t much I think I’d consider this to me a romcom which I didn’t mind at all.

My ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a hilarious meet cute and the story moved along at a good pace. Will definitely read more by this author.

Soo I read this in one day - I was hooked at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about Hudson - I was NOT feeling him. I loved Stella - goodness - there is just so much to love about her! What a lovely slow burn - I loved the pace and at over 60% into the book and no sexy times yet - I loved it! And the almost fade to black was appreciated. The story didn’t need every encounter described in detail.
Don’t get me wrong I love descriptions too but it was refreshing.

I enjoyed this read for a lot of reasons, the main ones being we had a pretty realistic plot and strong characters. There were entertaining surprises (though one of them towards the end I did guess early) and some fun coincidences but there was no angsty drama or miscommunication that I find in a lot of the romances. Hudson is a man we all dream of dating; successful in business, a heartwarming father, and affectionately open about his feelings. He’s not afraid to cry and for that I love him even more! Stella is a dream herself being witty, smart, and adorable all around. This author did a great job making me love the side characters just as much as H + S, and the ending had me swooning (cmon, Charlie with the banana!). My only complaint would be that Vi promised an exciting “wedding crash” book, when the actual wedding scene went by quite quick and didn’t make up most of the story. I loved the rest, but I was expecting something a bit different at first. Other than that, I was smiling so much through the entirety of this book and it really delivered in a lot of ways.
