This was flat out delightful. The chemistry between the characters, the story, everything was amazing. Can’t wait to reread.

This was a nice low angst slow burn romance novel. I liked the chemistry between Hudson and Stella and their meet cute was original and funny. The epilogue was very sweet and touching as well.

Stella crashes a wedding and meets Hudson who soon realizes that she’s not who she says she is. He tries to publicly humiliate her. He then likes how she responds to his attempt at trying to embarrass her and asks her out. Besides that, the ending seemed rushed, and the problem was resolved way too quickly.

There were too many plot holes for me – I wanted to know what happened with her parents and sister and while I can understand keeping the Child’s paternity test a secret to protect the child, it felt like the birth mother got away with everything.
