Story: Carrie (h22) is lost and stuck in the mud on a remote mountain road when mountain man Tyler (H34) comes to the rescue. He instantly falls for the younger woman and offers to take her to the safety of his cabin. But Carrie is on the way to a friend’s wedding, and he realizes he’s going to have to work fast to convince her to stay with him forever. Hot and steamy mountain man quickie.

Audio: The narrators did a good job with this story. The audiobook uses two narrators, a male narrator, and a female narrator, depending on whose POV the story is being told from - I would have preferred that any dialogue coming from Tyler or Carrie, regardless of whose POV, would have been voiced by the male/female as appropriate as I find males trying to voice females and vice versa to take me out of the story. Noel Harrison does a good job with Tyler and other male voices, and Vivienne LaRue gave Carrie a voice that seemed to capture her character, plus she did a great job with supporting female voices.

I feel like a lot of these mountain men novellas are so cookie cutter and honestly I don’t care. This story was so much fun! Carrie is on her way to her friends wedding when her car gets stuck. Tyler is on his way home and comes to a stop behind a car that shouldn’t be there. So what does he do? He honks his horn. Carrie is a firecracker so she gets out of the car and starts yelling at him 🤣 from that point on Tyler knew he was in love with her. Insta love is such a funny thing but in these novellas I don’t mind it. I really enjoyed this one.

This was cringy and poorly written.

Wrong Turn, Right Man

A very fun and naughty quick read! I like how Carrie's imagination runs away with her on multiple occasions. It's seriously cute and a bit humorous.

He probably wants to drop me off at the earliest convenience, go home, rub hot oil all over his muscular chest, and then chop down a tree with an axe. Or, whatever hot muscular mountain men do in their free time. I’m not too sure.
-- Carrie

Then we have our mountain man hero, Tyler. He may be a bit over-the-top, but he's also a real sweetheart. And seriously dirty. ✔

Quick read and extremely insta-love. They fall really fast haha

I love the covers and that is what attracted me to this novella series first but tbh I am just enjoying the easy going read, they are easy to get through and it should not be taken seriously as each book is less than 100 pages so there is no room to develop a massive relationship before they are all in so skip all that and go straight to the ''I love her and want to marry her'' vibes after 10 seconds of meeting lol

We get a nice epilogue 14 years into the future to wrap up their life and give a glimpse at what they were busy doing (making babies) lol

This was a great mountain man romance. As always with this author it was totally over the top instalove in the best way. It was short and to the point, a great one to read if you’re short on time. Carrie and Tyler had great chemistry and I really enjoyed their story.
