Wrote a book report on this book in 2015 and I remember being glad the situation is not as bad as it used to be. Now it looks like the little sliver of peace described in this book has also gone to shit. Isn’t that lovely. 

Anyways didn’t love it as much this time around. Found the author a bit heavy handed when describing sensitive topics and sad things. But still super cool drawing/style and a great representation of the ordinary Palestinian’s life during the intifada.

Well done history and overview of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Unfortunately, still so needed to read and understand how this all happened and such a great medium for providing the emotional impact of what some claim are "necessary restrictions" on Palestinians for Israel's security. This has been shown to be a farce and nothing more than ghettoisation and genocide of a people. In current time (2025), this has lead to a bloodbath by the Israeli government.

Setelah menelusuri jalan-jalan Gaza, Nablus, Jabalia, dan kamp-kamp lainnya, ia menemukan fakta yang jelas, juga terang-benderang mengenai pendudukan yang dilakukan Isreal. Pendudukan adalah istilah lain dari pengusiran, perampasan, kekerasan, dan pembunuhan kepada seluruh rakyat Palestina.
