Another book I received as a gift and read at just the right time. This is exactly what I needed--short, simple, daily exercises to practice mindfulness.

Good intro, but not mindful yet
Although the book has increased my understanding of mindfulness it has not yet led to an adoption of mindfulness practices. Will need to revisit the topic at a later date, preferably as a more practical course to better understand the exercises.

2.5 stars. This was a fine little book as an introduction to mindfulness. There were only a few things I hadn't heard of before so overall wouldn't be able to recommend and seems more like a coffee table book. It has been sitting on my Kindle for a while waiting to be read and figured it was a good time to dive into it. As someone who practices mindfulness, yoga and uses several apps on my phone regularly, there wasn't a ton of new information that I haven't already received in a different format already.

I have become so interested in the concept of mindfulness, and I think the Little Book of Mindfulness was the perfect book to begin learning more about it. This was such a cute little book, but it was full of so much useful information. I will definitely continue using the exercises within this book in the future! I can't wait to continue researching more about mindfulness and hopefully be able to master it someday!
