I won a copy of this book through a Goodreads giveaway.
I was a little surprised by how much I enjoyed this book to be honest. I was intrigued first by it being another retelling of Alice in Wonderland, and one categorized as horror at that. Seeing this story play out in the so-called "real world" rather than Wonderland was another plus for me.
I also really enjoyed the new twist on Hatter. Hearing his backstory, seeing how he fit into the story this time, how he made his madness work for both him and Alice as they made their way towards their ultimate goal.
Overall, I will definitely be reading this book again and I look forward to the sequel.
