A modern and very dark take on Alice in Wonderland. It was honestly a difficult read because the subject matter was particularly heinous. With that being said, it was certainly an interesting twist on Alice, who constantly doubts herself in this iteration while the surreal reality around her slowly builds her confidence. I think other reviews have many of the trigger warnings for this book, so definitely take a look at them before you decide whether to give this a shot.
