Cora is definitely a great Mafia author. She always hits it out of the park!
I loooooved this so much. It took a minute for me to like and understand Danilo. Sofia, I loved her from the beginning and understood all of the emotions she had. There were times when I cringed hard because of the way she acted around Danilo prior to his birthday party at his lodge.
I came to like Danilo after that because he came to his senses and I adored Sofia’s strength and how she made him work for it. We love to see it.
Serafina and Remo were the ghosts that haunt this story. I didn’t enjoy them being brought up so much, BUT I understand why they were brought up and it makes sense to the story and Danilo and Sofia’s relationship. In the end, Sofia got the husband that she connected with not only because of duty and honor. And the same for Serafina.
Sofia and Danilo went through so much, but they ended up being so strong together and it was worth it in the end. This was such a beautiful story and that epilogue was everything

This book can be read as a standalone but it made a lot more sense to me after reading Serafina’s story in Twisted Pride, as Serafina was Danilo’s intended bride before Sofia.
That being said, this is such a good story. I loved watching Sofia & Danilo work through their issues to realize their feelings for each other.

Why? Seriously what was the purpose of writing this book? It’s just The Same old shit with different names
Dear Author please write about falcone family, at least they’re interesting
