Why? Seriously what was the purpose of writing this book? It’s just The Same old shit with different names
Dear Author please write about falcone family, at least they’re interesting

So I really think cora should take a hint on Danilo and Sofia MOVE ON from TP PLOT

I’m SO over serafina kidnapping remixes. The book wasn’t bad but I got the feeling that I was reading another segment from twisted pride colateral effect, like please dude YOU NEED TO MOVE ON.

I really like cora writing in general and twisted pride used to be my fav. But I really missed more Danilo e Sofia moments as a couple they married in almost the end of the book. Its like you’re running out of ideas and need to fill the pages so you keep repeating things, and if it’s the case then fine, maybe you should slow down for bit but if it’s not then I don’t know why you keep up with this

I was exited for this book, now I’m desapointed,

Deslikes
-The plot was kind of rushed.
- I don’t think Danilo had a huge development. He was not a bad person in the previous book. I just hoped I would’ve known a different side of him.
- Sofia and Danilo interactions were kind of lame for the most part of the book, like I saw some chapters with a huge potencial but they interactions was dismissed for Sofia because of what happened in the party.
- Sofia's self-esteem problems could have been more elaborate, but again, as much of their relationship was explored towards the end of the book, it gave the impression that development was missing.

Likes
- Now what I did like in the book was seeing Anna all grown up and her interactions with Sofia
- Seeing more about Samuel persona
- Santino and Anna exchanges
- The way Danilo is caring towards his sister

Maybe if she you had explored Sofia surpassing the incident and then they relationship, I would have loved the book.

The author spent almost a chapter describing serafina leaving, but lines in interactions like they cooking together, or attending events together, growing up as a family. And since you let all of this for the ending, felt kind of vague.

In short, I think I couldn’t connect with the couple and feel their passion, because of the hasten ending.

Lets see adamo’s book

I hope you’re doing fine with your pregnancy.

Thats my honest review

Yeah... not my cup of tea. Expected a lot more. I had a 'cringe' moment when she said her body reacted when she saw him, and she was 11 years old (or 12) at the time, and he was 10 years older than her. I don't know... I had a feeling the story was forced.

“. . . it wasn’t my name they would whisper in the pews today. Because I was the consolation prize. The surrogate bride. Worst of all, I was not my sister.”

When you are promised to a man that was once supposed to be with your sister, it doesn’t start a very confident relationship.

This is a unique mafia story because it’s not your typical family against family action book.
This story is about Danilo and Sofia’s relationship and marriage. How something so shaky and doubtful can end with a strong marriage and HEA.

I understood Danilo when he didn’t keep communication with Sophia when he was promised Sophia. After all, she was a child and well... that’s what he saw. A child, not his future wife.
So all the while Sophia had a crush on him, she had to go through years of seeing her future fiancé in photos online with other women. Women that looked like her sister who he was supposed to marry first. It’s all angsty as hell and a shitty situation for Sophia.
She eventually gains a backbone once she’s of age and marries Danilo.
This story is the evolution of these two and it was a breathe of fresh air to read a non-typical mafia book.

“Danilo shook his head. “I wish you could see yourself through my eyes only once, then you’d never doubt my desire for you again.”

this book was just not for me. I don't think there is one redeeming quality to it, except the last 2/3 chapters. I don't know… the tropes were bad, the characters very superficial, the story was just awful and I felt like I had nothing to hold on to…
Danilo's character was just bland. he had no personality and the way he masked himself next to Sofia was not it. his sudden attraction came out of nowhere and felt very forced. I didn't like the way he treated her and I didn't like him.
Sofia is very childish and impulsive and I had so much second hand embarresment! I'd never felt something like this… awful. her character has no beliavable arc and I don't think her character stands without Serafina and that's not how it should work… she definitely has balls! I'll giver her that, like damn girl!!!
the romance seemed fake and forced. came a bit out of the blue and the conclusion was very rushed and not organic.
I don't think I have a single good thing to say about this book except that I loved the sexual "plotline" their exploration with toys and everything else… but otherwise not much.
