I LOVE THIS BOOK!

Tell Him was my favorite essay ❤️

You're in good company with these extraordinary women. It's a safe space to learn, laugh, rage and be inspired to start or continue your feminist journey, fighting the patriarchy to one day see equality for everyone

Both a humerous and harrowing read at times, all very well written. Sometimes a little repetitive but a quick read, easy to jump in and out of.

DID NOT FINISH

I'm not a massive fan of anthologies / collections of short pieces, however this is probably the best of all of them that I've read so far.

Curtis has collated a fantastic array of women (including some big name celebs) into this one book... but more importantly, she's done so in a way that they become more than their collective parts. The stories are a great mix of formats and lengths and they are superbly structured.

Rating: 4.5. / 5

4.5 for me
informative inspiring

I think this is a nice intro to feminism for those who want to know more about it or improve on knowledge they already have.

It covers theory as well as personal anecdotes and opinions. It would have been nice to steer away from the standard celebrity figures, and cater to more of the “everyday” woman, but overall a good read
