Though not the target audience of this book, I still enjoyed reading these essays on feminism. Some were better than others, but I think all gave a powerful voice to the movement. I hope younger women and girls get a lot of hope and knowledge from this book.

3 stars because just because this didn’t resonate with me, doesn’t mean it won’t be helpful to someone else. I’m still glad this book exists.
My main problem was that all of these essays seemed to only scratch the surface of what feminism is. They got really repetitive after a while, and never made me look at things from new perspectives, which is what I wanted.
I don’t want to invalidate any of the authors, their experiences, or what feminism means to them, but this was a miss for me personally.

I LOVED IT! It’s so so amazing. It opened my eyes a little bit more, definitely recommend it!!
“She has a voice. If you can't hear it, maybe it's because you're too busy talking.”
A collection of essays written by woman in different industries such as Kiera Knightly, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan etc. Some essays were a hard read like the one on FGM however all were very interesting and motivational.

I read this way back at the beginning of the first lockdown, and it was such a refreshing read. The short essay format made it so easy to follow, and meant you got a diverse range of voices on intersectional feminism in one book. I liked all of the essays from people I already knew and followed like Emma Watson, but what I liked most was hearing from voices I had never heard before. All of them had such a unique take on what it means to be a feminist, I took so much away from this book. It’s a great introductory read if you don’t really know where to start as well!

A collective of short stories about many different women and their experience with feminism.
