Okay, but is it just me, or do Scarlett and Lukas spend more time apart than together?! 😅 Don’t get me wrong—I loved their chemistry and dynamic, but I kept waiting for more actual page time between them. That said, the tension was there, and when they were together? 🔥

The sports element is a big part of the story, so if you’re not into athletic romances, this one might not be for you. And the light-hearted take on BDSM and kink was an interesting touch—nothing too intense, but definitely something to be aware of. One thing I really appreciated was how trauma was handled—not just through their relationship but also with therapy, which added a nice layer of realism.

Overall, Deep End was a fun, steamy, and emotional read. A little more time with the couple would’ve been nice, but it still delivered on the tension and Hazelwood’s signature charm!

Not my favorite Hazelwood, but she took a difficult topic (kink/BDSM) and made it accessible and even, I suspect, accurately conveyed how healthy and trust-centric those relationships can be. It’s probably less of a favorite only because there was less pining/tension before the spice, and kink culture isn’t totally my thing (tho I didn’t mind all the extra spice). I loved the side story of female friendship.

This was actually insanelyyyy good - I’ve loveddd all of Ali Hazelwoods books I’ve read but this might be one of my favorites :) I loved literally everything about it so much
Also I will say that this might be the horniest book I’ve ever read lmaoo - I’ve read some straight up smut books but this somehow was hornier than those

I'm not a contemporary romance reader, but this was a great read! The characters are likeable, original, and interesting. The diving was included just enough & felt real/believable. At least for someone that doesn't know anything about diving.

The romance is cute, steady, emotional, and satisfying. The love interest didn't feel like a copy and paste from other popular romance novels. It was a nice change of pace. There's a great friendship we get to see develop also.

Easy, fun read. Perfect if looking for a more light/happy but not boring/lackluster romance book.

It wasn’t bad but it was probably my least favorite of Ali Hazelwood’s novels. I like Lukas though.
