Ali Hazelwood strikes again! This is one of my top Ali Hazelwood reads and for good reason, too. Very spicy and relatable as a student athlete....a little bit...lol.

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an easy 5⭐️ for how much I loved the characters, the fun I had while reading, the spice and the surprising depth (no pun intended) to the overall story.
First of all, I am absolutely obsessed with Scarlett and Lukas. Scarlett is such a relatable MFC. She struggles with some real issues that athletes and non athletes alike can probably empathize with. It was such a great journey watching her grow and work to overcome the issues holding her back. I also adored her overall personality. She was strong and vulnerable, open, honest and genuine. Lukas was so.. well, also perfect. I honestly can’t find a fault, except those which make his personality unique and deep. He was attentive to those around him, quiet perhaps but so warm with Scarlett, and so big on making sure those he cares about feel safe and seen. He was all green flags under his broody exterior.
I absolutely loved how Ali Hazelwood normalized many issues, including people having different sexual appetites, and reinforced the importance of trust and communication when discussing relationship needs. I love that she created characters who’s friction didn’t stem from judgement of each other and snap reactions to miscommunication, but from deeper issues that forced her characters to take a deeper look inward to solve, and how she built up strong friendships that displayed such support.
Overall, just such a great read that left me feeling warm and fuzzy for these characters!

Preeeeetty very spicy but I still don't really care about diving...
A little weird at first but it turned out very good. I’m in love with Lukas Blomqvist!
Ali Hazelwood never dissapoints. I loved this book so much, like they were so freaking cute together and the spice was a 10 out of 10. He fell first and so much harder. I didn’t like pen at first because she was really trying to hold on to the relationship she had with Lukas but i’m glad she changed.
rehashed my experienced fears of platform diving & Midsommar

Character development for all is great but docked a star bc of the FMC being more obsessed with the people around her snd Penelope and her feelings when it came to Lucas rather than putting herself first, knowing how Lucas felt about her and made it relatively clear quite often in the last half. Got to a point it was making me mad for Lucas bc of how down band he is for her since the beginning and her refusing to acknowledge his and her feelings til the last chapter practically.
I have come to the conclusion that I will eat up every book Ali writes
