I enjoyed this as well, though not as much as Space Junk. The plot is very interesting and fast-paced.

I just love the friendship and family relationships in this series. I can't wait to read the next books in the series.

I just can’t love Jules as an FMC enough to finish it. I have a guess about how the third act is gonna go and I just don’t care to go through it to get to the HEA.

Space Cowgirl: Houston, All Systems Go
Space Series, Book 2
By: Sara L. Hudson
Narrated by: Samantha Brentmoor, Lee Samuels

Sometimes you just need to laugh and enjoy escaping into a book. Sara L Hudson has let me do that with the second book in her Space series! This one features Jules and Holt, both of whom we met in the first book. Jules is NASA's star astronaut, now back on the ground and going to be Jackie's maid of honor. While a strong, smart and independent, she is unsure of the responsibility of her task, and since she is having some issues of her own, she decides to take some much needed vacation and work it all out. Plus now she is going to be near Holt, Flynn's brother and best man. After one night with him, she isn't sure how they will be able to work together, the chemistry is off the charts! Holt is much more reserved than Jules, working the family ranch and enjoying bringing kids in to experience the outdoors. Now that the wedding is taking place at the ranch, Jules is moving in to help with renovations. Will these two be able to coincide? And what if the problems Jules is having spill onto the ranch? Talk about a fun, spicy story line with a bit of suspense! Hudson keeps me riveted with her original characters and plot. I am loving these smart, strong, quirky heroines and the interaction with West family! I can't wait for Trish's story next! With hints in this one, it is sure to be exciting!

Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels continue their fabulous narration of this series. Spot on comedic timing and captivating allure, these two keep the characters fresh and consistent between the stories. I am loving their pairing and look forward to book 3!

I was expecting another great one like Space Junk but alas that was not the case.

I was having bad vibes all around.

Will potentially pick up book 3 in this series sometime.

i loved the first book, so i’m very disappointed that this wasn’t the silly fun sequel i was hoping for. while i liked julie a lot, holt kinda absolutely fucking sucked and i do not have the patience to read his povs blindly hoping he gets better.

A little mystery, a lotta romance, and a barrel of laughs

Julie Starr is a confidant accomplished woman, also a fun loving and outspoken bad@$$. Holt is responsibility personified, AKA a stick in the mud. When Jules’ life takes a turn and she is tasked with Maid of Honor for best friend Jackie’s wedding what better place to set up a base than Best Man Holt’s ranch. I love that we get dual POVs so that we know what these two are thinking cause they’re not being real open with each other. This story draws us into their lives and them into our hearts. A well written tale of Insta attraction and personal revelation this book was a joy to read.

I just adore this series of books. All of the female leads are whip smart, in STEM careers, and have personalities in spades. We already know Julie and Holt from Space Junk, and they truly couldn’t be more opposite. Julie has confidence and get shit done attitude in spades. Meanwhile Holt is a hot cowboy, a little bit of a boy scout, full of oodles of southern manners. The forced proximity of them helping to plan a quick wedding for Jackie and Flynn was the perfect setup for the opposites attract explosive chemistry. There’s not as much NASA in this book, since the primary setting is the ranch, but there were still lots of fascinating behind the scenes details. This series qualifies as perfect quarantine reading for me. It’s fast paced, sucks you right in, and the chemistry/

So great but I need more. On to the third!
I do feel like one thing was left unresolved unless I missed it.

I really enjoyed this story, just not as much as I did the first book in the series. It is a funny and entertaining listen. Samantha Brentmoor and Lee Samuels were brilliant. I really regret not listening to them sooner.
