I started with 5

gotta read the rest of the series now. I really liked it. The writer keeps you guessing on if and I actually had emotions in a book which form me is kinda hard. I really wanna start book 1 now.

It started strong, a good solid 4 star read, then it tapered off in the end. You could tell that the couple was too happy during the book to not have a third act break up, which did end up occurring. Everything after the third act break up I didn't love and honestly just had to suffer through. I feel like I'm the odd one out for this but I feel like Raya had like no real personality. Lex had personality and history, and actively did so many things for Raya (and somehow she still questioned if he really liked her, like girlllll). and I thought that Raya was just kinda there. The story was cute tho. If I do reread this book, I will just stop at the third act break up.

Holy shiitake mushrooms! What a book. I have loved all of Catharina's books, but this one by far takes the cake. Lexington and Raya spoke to my soul in so many different ways. I loved the dynamic of their relationship and how unconventionally conventional they are.

The protectiveness Lexington has for Raya comes at a cost, but the end result is so beautiful. I cried, I laughed, i threw my ipad a couple of times
