Holy shiitake mushrooms! What a book. I have loved all of Catharina's books, but this one by far takes the cake. Lexington and Raya spoke to my soul in so many different ways. I loved the dynamic of their relationship and how unconventionally conventional they are.
The protectiveness Lexington has for Raya comes at a cost, but the end result is so beautiful. I cried, I laughed, i threw my ipad a couple of times

This book has my whole heart, I can’t even it put into words. I absolutely DEVOURED this book in one day. The love that both Raya and Lex have for each other and the work they are both willingly to put into their relationship. I truly love seeing the cultural representation in this book as well, I feel like it’s not everyday that you see a book with a POC FMC and i love that.
After reading this book I am absolutely excited for Sierra and Xavier’s story. I know once this series end i am absolutely going to be wrecked and in a reading slump
