Lex was easily one of my favorite Windsor brothers, and I enjoyed he and Raya's relationship throughout most of the book; however, when Sierra goes missing his anger and the way he reacted took me out of the story and made me want to put the book away.

I think Lex's hurtful words and distrust, while still harsh, could have allowed me to want his happiness and forgiveness from Raya, but that anger and physical response paired with his controlling nature was too much, and really took me out of this story dropping it to more of a 2.5 for me.

There were also quite a few grammatical errors and typos that made the book not feel as put together as the previous ones I have read. There were so many great parts and I laughed quite a bit when Lola was involved, but there was just a bit too much real conflict for me to feel like this story was as happy as the others.

ngl i was just skimming this book most of the time because it felt like lex could do absolutely anything and raya would just take it.
good to know that even if he puts a gun to her head & threatens her she’s going to be completely fine
honestly the fact that she wasn’t even mad at him for calling her a bitch ???? like girl u didn’t even call him out for that??? you were so stuck on the part where he confessed to “pretending to try” like uh we have more pressing matters
tbh this is probably the first time catharina maura has disappointed me w a book ://

HANDS DOWN BY FAR MY FAVOURITE BOOK BY CAT YET! Lex and Raya have officially taken first place as my favourite couple of hers, they are just too perfect. I knew this one would become my favourite but definitely didn’t expect it to make it almost impossible to beat. Thank you Cat for another amazing book, I can’t wait for sierra’s story next. ❤️‍
