I really loved this book, and series overall, but it was a little instalovey for my tastes, and that kind of follows through the book. A love at first sight but I don’t trust you book? I also don’t like how Sierra became the primary focus for a few chapters, as that typically hasn’t been done in previous books.

I really love Raya and Lex story. It was so good and perfectly executed. I’m glad Lex went to therapy to really work on his trust issues so he can be a better man for Raya. I love a good professor/student romance and this did that trope very well. The chemistry between Raya and Lex was amazing and I loved how Raya’s culture was a big part in this as well. I just wished their book was a bit longer which is why I rated it 4 stars, I wanted more of them.
