My least favorite of the series. I don’t want to just regurgitate what a lot of other reviews are saying but somethings you just can’t bounce back from and it made Lex completely unlikeable.


The one brother that had golden retriever energy in every prior book was turned into THIS.

But RAYA?! We love Raya

The book was perfection as expected. The Windsors never disappoint. For a moment I was livid and ready to bop Lex side his head but he redeemed himself. Both characters were amazing and the spice was on point. I really enjoy reading about how their relationship progressed and now they grew despite their trust issues. Lexington Windsor is a very emotional and possessive man and that makes for some very sexy and hot intimate times between him and raya.

Lexington Windsor knows he’s going to have an arranged marriage just like the rest of his family. But he wants to have the upper hand so he finds out and meets his future wife. He even takes a teaching position in the masters program Raya is in. Raya willingly agrees but wants to keep their marriage a secret for awhile. 

Lex really was such a loving husband the entire time. I know Raya may not have felt it the whole time, and Lex needed to come to it in his own terms, but his actions were all there. I honestly loved Lex in this story. 

I loved hearing Troy Duran say “darling”. It’s said with such reverence. Every time. When he’s happy, sad, in love, feeling flirty.

I was waiting for Lex's book. I loved him in everyone else's books and my love for him grew because of this. The beginning had me so hooked already. I'm obsessed with the way they met and how they interacted. Raya was such a STRONG character, I truly loved how she held onto her dreams of true love and everything. This book was way shorter than I expected but I wish it was longer because of how much I loved it.
