I read the reviews first before I bought this book and gave it the benefit of the doubt. 

The way of writing is a bit amateuristic, which is what more reviews mention but beside that I continued reading because the story gripped me enough to do so.

It's the ending for me.. Some people say it ends in a cliffhanger. I wouldn't call it that. It's just a sad, disappointing ending. I am not tempted to buy the second book, I'm sorry.

I never really write long reviews, a book is either good or bad for me but this book is somehow both..
