I enjoyed how action-packed this one was! Reminded me a lot of Sydney and Adrian's story in the offshoot of Vampire Diaries... but I guess a lot of these types of stories sort of meld together, haha.

The Lux series is one of my all time favorites. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want from a series. Jennifer's writing seems so effortless and is utterly captivating not just in the Lux series but in all her books and boy does she know how to pack a punch with these ass wooping chiff hangers. Seriously, my heart hurts.
“There's only one thing I want."
"And that is?"
"I want to see Kat."
Nancy's smile didn't fade. "And what are you willing to do to accomplish that?"
"Anything," I said without hesitation, and I meant it. "I will do anything, but I want to see Kat first and I want to see her now.”
After a long wait for Origin after that horribly painful ending in Opal it's been one of my most anticipated reads of this year! This book contains everything and i mean everything. It's written from the dual POV of Daemon and Katy, uhh can i say perfection? It's an entirely unpredictable read each moment more surprising than the next, We get to learn a lot more from this book, more into Daedalus, the mysterious 'origins', new characters (Archer i love you!), a nice little drop in from my boy Hunter from Obsession (had my dreaming up a bromance between Daemon and Hunter which lead to full force swooning), more insight into the old characters, seriously it's been driving me coo-coo wondering what Luc is and ohhhh shit is this book action packed. From the first chapter i was like Damn shit just got crayzeeee!! then with each passing chapter shit just got crazier and crazier and if it got any crazier my head was gonna explode (my heart almost did!)
“All right ... anyone who gets into one of these cars outside is in it for the long haul … If you even think you’re not ready to put your life on the line for everyone here, then you stay behind. If you screw us out there, I will end you.” He flashed a rather charming smile. “And I will probably enjoy it.”
Origin is one hell of a crazy ass roller coaster, the action is a none stop rapid assault, the love is consuming as usual, and the betrayal oooh it buuuurns!

Daemon Black will always hold a special place in my ravaged heart, he is one of my most favorite book boyfriends like evahh, and let me tell you this book only helped his case, he is perfection in every which way it matters. In the past books there have been times when Katy has got on my nerves something rotten but i absolutely loved her in this book, she matured so much i sometimes forgot i was reading about a teen and thought it was a matured woman i was reading, all of the annoyances i had about here were non existent in this book.
“Staring down at Katy, I fell for her all over again.
Lost my heart when she smiled.”
This is a high impact book and is damn near impossible to put down, i have just finished it about twenty minutes ago but i can tell you it's going to consume my thoughts for a while now. The wait ohhhh the wait is going to damn near kill me.
If you havent read this series, seriously what are you thinking? You need to get on this shit right.now.

Tja prima tussendoor boek, ben wel een beetje klaar met deze serie maar ben al zo ver dat ik hem wel af wil maken. Het verhaal is naar mijn mening verder flinterdun, afgezien van de plottwists aan het einde kabbelt het vrij rustig voort.
There is so much happening in this book and at this point I have completely forgotten what happens so it’s basically like I’m reading it for the first time again. What’s happening with Beth I guessed. I’m enjoying rereading this series so much and I’m so glad that I didn’t get rid of these books. To me, these aren’t reading like YA normally does and I think that’s why I’m enjoying it so much. I’m kind of sad I only have one book left in this series but I’ve been having such a good time reading them.

Wow, was für ein Tempo diese Reihe aufgenommen hat! Ich bin total baff, aber auch entsetzt und traurig. Ich bin absolut hingerissen davon, wie es Jennifer L. Armentrout geschafft hat, aus einer scheinbar leichten Drama-Teenieromanze, dieses Feuerwerk, Nein, einen wahren Krieg an Emotionen und Geschehnissen zu erschaffen. Sie ist so vielfältig, schreibt herzzerreißende New Adult Romane, knisternde Liebesgeschichten, grandiose Fantasy, erschafft bookboyfriends, wie kaum eine Zweite, hat aber auch die Fähigkeit, ein gnadenloses und brutales Szenario zu erschaffen, welches dem Fortlauf der Geschichte eine völlig neue Richtung gibt und dabei schreckt sie vor nichts zurück und geht mit ihren Protagonisten alles andere als zimperlich um. Gott, was habe ich mit ihnen gelitten. Ich werde, ich muss, direkt Opposition lesen.
Wow. So much action happens in this installment of the Lux series. Daemon Black gets more swoon-worthy every book. He is in the all time top 5 book boyfriend list. Katy can hold her own against his douchebaggery. It's a fun read while being very intense in parts. After that cliffhanger in Opal, I was ready for Origin. It was definitely more fast paced than the first 3 books. Great book for sure!
