So far, I have found this series entertaining. As with most books with love interests, I find it frustrating, but it does provide for some fun back and forth and awkward situations. And, of course, I now need to read the next one so I know how the story continues.

The will-they-won't-they kills me in all the best ways.

Although it's the same narrator as the first one, she picks up the speed in talking to a more normal pace which I so appreciate bc I truly hated it.

It was the slowest slow burn ever! The characters are fun and engaging and the plot goes a mile an hour, but at some point I just stopped caring about the two main characters will they/won’t they drama. Honestly, less of that and more of the storyline and other characters, though many also seemed to be in some kind of slow burn thwarted romance situation, too! It just got to be dull. I’d rather less longing glances across the room and more of the action and fun!
