“Those b*tches might have started it, but I sure as hell finished it”. Wooooweee. The bullying was really hard to read, but I loved the cattiness and how everyone is just so unlikeable haha. Great book if you want to read about revenge

Story was lacking a little, but it was still fun and very twisty. It did feel very YA though. Quick summer read.

This book reminds me of a grown up Pretty Little Liars (although still centered on events from teenage years). A group of women are invited to a private island by the girl they used to bully in school. They all think it's weird that she's not only invited them on a free trip, but that she's also asked them to be bridesmaids in her wedding, however, they go anyway. The prologue starts off a little ominous with only one of the girls showing up covered in blood but you're able to figure out almost right away who it is when they all meet the woman who takes them to the island. So I wouldn't really consider that much of a "twist" but there is another twist that I didn't really see coming. The characters are purposely unlikable but you do end up having some sympathy for them and reading Poppy's journal entries was really emotional (trigger warning for self harm).

While this was a fast read for me, the ending left me feeling “meh” toward every single character. Definitely some twists, but I saw almost all of them coming, to be honest.
Felt like I’ve read the same story before…I was between a 2-3 star rating, but went with 3 because the storyline did keep me reading and wanting to know what would happen (even though I had basically figured it out!)

Would’ve been. 4* if I didn’t have to keep going back to check who’s POV i was reading as there is several
