I've always been fond of philosophy of madness from Erasmus to Foucault. Moon Knight combines this philosophy with an intriguing story and great work of art. I wish we had a six stars option for this.

I'd read some Moon Knight before (the Bendis run?) And I seriously did not get it at all lol. I had no idea what was going on. This felt a lot better in that I still had no idea but the story was really compelling and "not getting it" was clearly the point.

The imagery of New York filling with sand amidst a giant pyramid was very cool.

And then he woke up. That's pretty much number one on my list of lame endings. But until it gets there, this book is cool but confused. The story never makes sense. And yet it kind of felt like an introduction to who Moon Knight is anyway. Or who he is at the moment. Pretty good art and for the confused plot, pretty good writing. And the ending could have been even more annoying. 3.5 of 5.

Solid start. Pretty confused by the end, but thoroughly entertaining and excited to keep reading.

Picked this one up because of the show, and I wasn't ready for the intensity of the content. Also not a fan of the use of lunatic (which is ableist) in the title. Will be returning to the library soon.

Mind-bending, trippy, at times hard-to-follow, but if you're along for the ride it is an enjoyable one. My advice is that you should read this and you should just hang on for the ride!
