surprised that i actually enjoyed this, based on previous experiences with julia quinn but it was a fun read! a little silly and requires some serious suspension of disbelief but what else can you expect from historical romance.

Oh John Augustus Cavendish Audley - how I adore thee! I think this is my favourite Julia Quinn book, the hero and heroine were strong characters in their own right, it was witty, it was moving and it had plot so what more could I ask for!
For some reason this took me a really long time to finish, but I’m blaming this on me rather than the book. This was a fun regency romance with a highwayman, lost duke, and a frightful dowager.
