A nice quick read. I enjoyed their dynamic alotttttt. Did choose to read this as a standalone so didn’t feel anything when all the previous characters showed up but I’m sure it was great for those who did

This book definitely wins for twistiest plot twist in the series. Ariana went through so much in this story, and I'm glad she got her HEA. I understand why she and Cash had issues telling each other how they felt and just being straightforward with each other in the book. However, nothing in their relationship gave me the warm fuzzy feelings I crave, because for the most part it's purely physical - or at least that's what they tell the other.

There was not a lot of communication between the couple in this book, and one of my favorite parts of books like this is the dialogue between the love interests. That's not to say this was not a well written story with a well thought out plot, because it absolutely was. It just wasn't one of my favorites in the series. On to the next one!

Tropes: marriage of convenience, forced proximity, mafia & lawyer
- Dual POV

Sav has done it again! This book follows Cash Primrose and Ariana Ricci! If you read the previous books in this series then you will know that these two have already made appearances and are related to some of our other love interest in previous books!

I was so excited to start this book and Cash and Ariana delivered! Ariana's past is very dark and deals with uncomfortable or heavy topics, however I feel Sav wrote from her POV very well and gave great resolution to how her side of the story ends!
The ending was somewhat surprising but also I saw some of it coming. The ending also kind of fell flat for me - not my favorite out of the series but I am still excited to see how Sav will continue to expand upon this world and tie together all these characters! My guess is the 6th book will be about the final Ricci sister, but we will see!!

Favorite Quotes: (spoilers - read at your own risk lol)
The comparison to my sisters isn't new or surprising, but it annoys me nonetheless. -Ariana
...my little nightmare. -Cash
Technically, the terms of our agreement have been met, so the only reason he's stayed...is me. -Ariana
And maybe we aren't getting the classic fairy-tale dream together. But I don't need that anyway. The nightmares are so much more appealing. -Cash
