Darker than I was expecting. Check for trigger warnings, if needed. Suicide is a major theme in this one. Well written. Loved the characters. The ending felt super rushed after the middle dragged a touch. But overall highly enjoyed.
*I’m adding a star because of how much this one lives in my head.*

Trigger warning: book included significant talk about suicide and grief associated with suicide. Please be safe when choosing to start this book.
That being said, wow! I am heartbroken, and overjoyed, and i felt so many emotions alongside all these characters. What an epic tale of loss and recovery. The spice was good, definitely more on the angsty side of things. But I enjoyed how it played into the overall story.

I enjoyed this book. The spice was very minimal so the story was at the forefront which was nice. Def a slow burn.
Because it’s my trigger, I will mention that although the MCs do not experience stillbirth, Tate being an OBGYN makes stillbirth a topic flippantly mentioned throughout the book.
I was going to rate this book 4 stars probably until I got to about 75%, which is where I just got really bored. The only part of this book I actually didn’t like and thought was super unnecessary is the location of Tate doing what he did at the end. IYKYK.

There was something perpetually tragic about us. Even in moments of peace. We were two empty planets, bound by grief and a gravitational pull neither of us could deny. Destined to collide and end in a fiery death.
What.the.fuck. The ending of chapter one left my jaw on the floor.
After being disappointed with My Dark Romeo I honestly didn't expect this one to be as good as it was.
I enjoyed the red thread with Kellan's Darling Venom throughout the book and loved the redemption arcs of the characters. However, I found the epilogue a bit rushed and was somewhat disappointed with the romance aspect. There was just not enough of it present.
Despite this the book was still very enjoyable overall and I had a lot of fun reading it.

I enjoyed it even though I got a bit irritated by the main character it did get a bit boring near the end of the book though and I found out the twist or secret in the first couple of chapters so that wasn't very surprising but other then that I enjoyed it for what it was
