I hated Hux so much. He didn't deserve Everly at all. I cried so many time for Everly because girl why you need to fell in love with such horrible man. He made himself up at the end but it was not enough at all. Gah! I hated Reese Huxley so much. Everyone except Lucy and Nelson was being such as asshole to Everly. The bonus epilogue kinda make me curious about Savannah (and maybe Travis) but consider how she was such as brat to Everly, I think I will be fine if Willa Nash aka Devney Perry doesn't write a book about her (or them).

This book was everything I wanted and more—grumpy x sunshine and single dad trope? Yes, please! Devney’s signature writing style shines through once again with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and emotionally rich storytelling. I adored the unexpected pairing—both characters are such strong, layered individuals and their chemistry is off the charts. The romance felt natural, powerful, and sooo swoon-worthy.
The spice level? 🔥 Let’s just say Devney delivered. I couldn’t stop reading—finished it in less than a day! I also really appreciate how this book can be read as a standalone while still giving us those lovely interconnections with the series. Every book in this world just pulls me in deeper, and The Bluff is definitely one of my favorites.
If you love small-town charm, strong heroines, protective dads, and steamy slow-burns with heart, run to read this one. So, so good!

I didn't love this one as much as the first one. I listened to the first one and I read this one. The chapters were so long. The spice was good and the storyline was okay. A few things that were lacking or felt rushed. But with that said, I will be reading the next one 😊
What an idiotic emotionally stunted man. I can tolerate a lot of crap personalities but my God this killed me. How could he spend THAT LONG going “oh why is my wife made at me???” after acting like that.
Loved this one just as much as the first. Everly is the type of friend you wish you had. She’s loyal, kind and giving. She gives hux a good run for his money and slowly starts to get him coming out of his shell. The story line was pretty good considering it’s one of those “fake marriages”
I just can’t stop with these books, I’m now onto the third because this one has me hooked.
