DNF @ 69% - No chemistry & no trust between the two MCs. I also was surprised that there was no actual spice?

How was this described to me as similar to my previous reads? How was this compared to the spice level in Elsie Winter and Ali Hazelwood? This is closed door with the barest of description. That’s someone else’s cup of tea, but it wasn’t what I thought I was reading.

I’ve already spoiled myself for the third act breakup via reviews and I’m not enthused. I didn’t want to listen to the last three hours.

Quickie review:

3.75 stars. This was pretty good. It had a really cutte ending, but it definitely had a few sad moments and made me cry, which is rare. I really felt for Everly and her loneliness, bravery and grit. I needed a little more grovel from Hux after he hurt her. But this was still good.
