Grumpy-sunshine and marriage of convenience? Yes, please! This is the second book in the Calamity Montana series, and I actually liked it more than the first!

Huxley is a reclusive artist, and Everly, new to town and friends with Lucy (from the first), it's just having some fun with him – until she overhears his lawyer, suggesting a wife would help his custody battle for his daughter

I love a good fake real romance, and this one did not disappoint. Both characters were great, and the epilogue was perfect. I have a feeling the next book is going to be enemies to lovers, and I'm totally here for it.

I’ve read my fair share of books by this author under both her pen names and the plot lines for each series are very similar but they all are so good

I liked this more than the first. The relationship progression feels more realistic (even in what is a totally unrealistic situation). The father daughter aspect was really touching. Usually I don’t like any books involving the practice of law at all bc I read to escape work but this was done well I think and didn’t bother me.
