I’m devouring this Calamity Montana series like it’s my full-time job and honestly? No regrets.
This one has:
✔️ Marriage of convenience
✔️ Grumpy artist + sunshine angel
✔️ Single dad energy (🥵 yes please)
✔️ Slow burn with spice
✔️ Realistic, moody teen that makes the story even better
✔️ Epilogues that DESTROY me in the best way 🫶🏻
Everly is the kind of sweet, grounded heroine you root for instantly. And Hux? Our tortured, brooding painter with a guarded heart and a swoon factor of 1000? I’m in love. Watching their casual fling turn into something real and full of emotion gave me all the feels. And the way Savannah (his daughter) was written? So believable. So perfectly teen.
The conflict wasn’t my fave moment—but it made sense. And it didn’t take away from the chemistry and heart these two built from the ground up. Also: the way Willa Nash sets up the next book?? Chef’s kiss.
Catch me running straight into the next one 🏃‍♀️
Marriage of convenience will ALWAYS win.

It was ok. The premise was weak at best and the bonus epilogue didn’t fit at all. I liked Hux and Savannah’s relationship, but the third act breakup made me so mad at him! Believing his friend over his wife is just, not it.

Quick to the spice, kinda boring,

3⭐️ I mostly skipped a lot of part but overall it was pretty good I just think the male lead didn’t deserve the female lead at some point he rather believed his friend then her

I enjoyed this, i really enjoyed our two mc’s and hux’s relationship with his daughter was probably my favourite part of the book.

I didn’t like the premise of this one that much, but it was an enjoyable and quick read regardless. I do have to say… those covers are criminal. I’ve purposefully chosen the alternative cover because what possesses anyone in publishing to put half naked men on covers of cutesy small town romances!?! It’s beyond me. On behalf of all of us: STOP!!! Not only is it a misrepresentation of the material within, it’s also stupid, wildly sexist, and overall ridiculous.
