The movie did a really solid job.

Have just re-read this, fancying something light-weight and easy to read. It's fast-paced, with some good plot twists and I really enjoy the Jack Reacher character.

These books keep getting better!

6 shots. 5 dead. One city thrown into a state of terror. The accused says you've got the wrong guy and to get Reacher.

For the most part this book kept me gripped and ended in the story and really brought out Reacher at its best. There is also a distinct lack of gratuitous violence which was welcome. It is lighthearted and formulaic but it is exactly what you need in a Reacher book.

Feels less filler and more intrigue than some of its predecessors.

Surprisingly this book stuck with me for a while after reading it.

This is the book that was made into the first Jack Reacher film, where they used camera magic to turn Tom Cruise into the towering monster that is Jack Reacher. /s

Even if you've seen the movie, the book is much more nuanced and detailed which makes it still worth the read. One of the best in the series so far.

Jack Reacher back to help, a bit like batman - and possibly just as realistic in the film that is based on this book. Tom Cruise leave it out.
This time he's called upon to save a man for whom all the signs say that he is guilty. Jack smells a rat, and gets caught up in an underworld struggle, but who is Mr Big.
Loved it, but then again I am a Reacher fan.
