If a character could be a home, it would be Conor. And if Conor is home, then Star is love. Because they go hand in hand and they both love so hard.

I don't know how else to explain how Conor is, but that would be the closest example I have. He makes you feel comfortable. He makes you smile especially when life gives you reasons not to. He makes you laugh. And he has a way of looking at things differently. Where other people would see finding your person as making you weak, he finds that as a strength. Star makes him stronger and vice versa.

These two deserve all of the happiness especially after everything they have been through and that we have seen then endure throughout the Five Points series and A Dark & Dirty Sinners MC series. We've had little glimpses inside their heads, but having a book dedicated solely to them hits different. They both exceeded my expectations and my expectations were HIIIIIIIGH.

When they first met, I felt like I was the chair in that room. If you know, you know. AND THEIR FIRST KISS. Omg, I was kicking my feet in the air.

You see so much growth in this book especially between the brothers and their wives. It was really beautiful to read especially Conor's interaction with Finn, Aiofe and Jake.

There were twists and turns and if there is one thing Serena knows how to do it's of course write spicy scenes, but also keep you on your toes. I cannot wait to see where the next book takes us because if Filthy Lies was a ride, I just know Filthy Truth is gonna be a rollercoaster.

So glad we now have Conners story. He is my favourite character of the 5 points mob. Love Conner

Felt very long. May come back to eventually

For fans of the Five Points series, Conor's story has been long in the making and we've been teased with his and Star's story through many of his brother's books. He is the enigmatic hacker whose childhood abuse changed many lives. Conor is loyal to his family and shaped by his father's patriarchal control. His oversight of his family has kept people safe throughout the series and now it is time for his story to be told. I already loved him as a character, but Filthy Lies gives him a voice.

This was always going to be a big story, and Filthy Lies is just part 1 of a duet. Star is perhaps the most formidable of Five Points women and has a history of violence and abuse. As Conor geeks out over her super spy status, she is also frequently recognized as the serial killer she is, but with a heart and a mission. Star uses her own tragedy to fuel her fight. She is prickly and hard to read at times. But this slow-burning romance with Conor has her softening.

I found this book surprisingly sensual and loving. While these two might not consummate their relationship just yet, their journey to experiencing each other is touching and beautifully written.

Filthy Lies is addictive and I couldn't put it down. Thankfully we don't have long to wait for the second part of the duet.

Conor and Star’s book was amazing.
Both hackers, both with traumatic pasts and becoming internet best friends gave their story extra cheering power for them to finally become more.
The buildup to their more is wonderful and exciting.
Them getting to know each other mentally and spiritually fits exactly who these two characters are and their personalities.
I loved Conor and Star.
His commitment to Star was beautiful to get to witness.
His love and loyalty to all those he holds dear makes him that much more a one of a kind man.
Star is one truly special lady.
After going through the ordeal she did. She comes back stronger and determined for her pound of flesh.
I’m so glad she had friends to help along the way and Ms. Akeroyd gives us some insight into them as well.
This is a thrilling first book of a duet.
It’s emotional and had my feelings spiraling all over the place.
I was gripping and absolutely invested in this couple from start to finish.
And you better believe I’m waiting on Filthy Truth with bated breath!

The story continues

We get to catch up with Conner and Star in this book, the two have been flirting by text for years ever since Star broke into Conners computer system and they discovered they were kindred spirits.
Conners seen all his brothers fall in love and knows Star is his person, he’s believes this so much that he’s prepared to travel to Russia to rescue her despite being scared of flying.
Both have been sexually abused in the past and they way that Conner understands her and is so patient with her is touching. The way they are both slightly crazy and just get each other makes for the start of a beautiful relationship.
Their war with the Sparrows continues and seems to be coming to a head, that cliffhanger m hopefully everyone is okay, can’t wait to find out.

Star & Conor

The love story so close to our hearts is here, dear readers. No spoilers, but know he finds her early. The love these two share is overpowered by one hell of a story. It's difficult to keep names and characters straight, and even with the reminders at the beginning there's a lot of back story to remember, important to this story. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. Be ready for very little spice -
