Not bad, not great either

In an effort to save her historic library, Noelle finds out her biggest supporter is her childhood best friend and crush, Jaromar. Rom is back in Winter Bliss to open a new coffee shop, but can't help reconnecting with Noelle, who rekindled his childhood crush as she zips around on roller skates in winter. A chance avalanche has them snowed in together on the mountain, and Rom forces Noelle to relax and let someone take some of her burden. He's all to willing to help her save her library. After all, coffee shops and libraries go great together. Will their crush survive the flamess of the demon new year? Or has Rom lost his chance with the fiery goddess?

The final novella in the series and it wrapped up the story so well. I loved jumping back into Winter Bliss for the holiday and seeing how Noelle and Rom navigated the avalanche and their forced proximity cabin situation. Rom is a demon with a bookstagram; be still my heart. He and Noelle connect on a bookish level that had me giddy. I loved their dynamic. This story read as less of a spicy read than the other novellas, but no less tension. It anything, childhood friends to strangers to lovers hit harder than anything. These were the perfect stories to get into the holiday spirit!

Very adorable, but also repetitive at parts.

A fun, smutty holiday romance read for fans of monster romance! Especially for fans of Beauty & the Beast. Tropes: forced proximity, friends to lovers, emotional scars, human FMC/demon MMC. The resort town was fun and added to the atmosphere, and I really enjoyed both MCs. I’d give this one 2 out of 5 chili peppers.

This was definitely my favorite of the winter bliss universe. Noelle is the local librarian and she's trying to save the library. She's got her work cut out for her, especially when she finds out her old best friend bought the building she had been trying to get to move the library into. Rom has always been insecure since his accident. He definitely never thought he was deserving of love and affection, especially from a certain redheaded bombshell. The two reconnected and their story is so sweet and pure. I loved that they both had a fondness for books and escapism. This was a sweet second chance friends to lovers novella and I loved every second of it. Rom and Noelle are the two cutest characters I've had the pleasure of reading about. I've loved the universe of winter bliss, Idaho and reading every different couples story and seeing them all unfold together.

Personally really loved this, but I'm always a sucker for friends-to-lovers in any capacity.

A cozy delight!
