Ik vond dit boek leuker dan ik van tevoren had verwacht! De personages zijn ietwat melodramatisch en intens (en irritant) maar ja het zijn pubers dus wat verwacht je. Er zitten echt heel heftige scènes in maar die worden heel mooi afgewisseld met hartverwarmende stukken

the end was slightly anti climactic but i really loved the book. it was an easy read and took me back to all the nostalgic high school feelings.

Picked this up because I knew it was pretty popular in the YA space back when it came out but I had missed it. It’s a cute story, and it’s really nice to get an asian protagonist. Ultimately, a lot of it seemed a bit far fetched but it certainly had a lot of heart.

Cry me a river of joy and sorrow about this book!! This book is everything you could ever want to read in a book about friends and lovers, for someone (me) who is tired of the usual love story between a regular Caucasian female and male. The striking reality of the lives the people lived in the book, are very relatable. Eleanor is one of the most 3-dimensional characters I have ever read about, and her personality is so realistic because she ISN'T perfect. Only to Park.
