LOVE LOVE LOVED this book. Albeit, the ending was kind of abrupt, but the plot called for it. Eleanor and Park are my favorite.

This was so cute and so heartbreaking. I cried like a baby by the end of it, ouch, my heart... :(

I actually had this book shelved on my "gave up on" shelf. I couldn't get past the miserable school bus. Then I got the audiobook from the library, unsure of why I even bothered except that I feel overly invested in finishing whatever I start. Am I glad I tried again! While Eleanor's wisdom and Park's courage and integrity feel outsized for their ages and circumstances, I want to believe that two such remarkable characters *could* exist, and Rainbow Rowell succeeded in making me do it. After a long, slow drip of the major tortures and minor indignities that go with daily life in the 10th grade, the pace picks up and the story comes together like a slip knot. The ending is beautifully crafted, incomplete and messy as real life, yet satisfying. I will be thinking about this story for a long time.

Lo he leido sabiendo que estaba siendo cancelado... se por que es cancelado y no entiendo que este mal ... pero no drmerita lo bueno del libro

This might be the first book I've ever finished within just a few days.

I wanted to like this book more, I really did. However, it just seemed repetitive at times. Eleanor & Park just seemed to drag on, and Rainbow kept telling us how Eleanor felt about Park, but she did not seem to show that. I guess that's how her character was intended, but it still wasn't very believable.

I loved this book. It's not deep, or twisty and turny, but it was genuine and heartfelt and sweet and heartbreaking. The writing is great, and I thought it captured teen emotion and romance perfectly. Heck, I felt much the same when I first met my now-husband! Really loved this book. And the end...I didn't expect it to be perfect, but it was.

6 STARS!!! I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. It was absolutely heart-wrenching. It is heartbreaking and beautiful and just amazing. I cried when I got to the last page. I was in high-school during this period; the details were true to the time. Not a book I am going to shake easily.
